i'm a bit worried about god.. he seems to be doing some quite silly and frankly, insane things to prove he exists.. some bloke found words from the quran in a tomato.. jesus keeps appearing in toast and cats bums.. i'm worried about god.

That was a great twilight zone "to serve man" maybe we're being farmed by energy vampires. The older I get the more disturbing it all seems and I have no answers. I thought for a long time there would be some explanation for our existence but nothing seems to make sense. So since I have some time left to live I escape into my imaginary worlds that I create because this one seems to have been taken over by the mammals, reptilians and the insectivores who are oblivious to their hopeless situation. I'm not sure about the Yetis.
in my stand up comedy routine tonight i want to list humourous reasons why i shd go back to jws.. how about nobody throws parties like jws.. how about jws being at the cutting edge of fashion.. how about it being easier for men to get a date.. any ideas?.

When we were witnesses each book study was assigned to feed the speaker after the Sunday meeting. Sometimes when we're on our way to a restaurant my husband will say out of the blue "we gotta feed the speaker" and we'll laugh like going to the zoo and feeding the animals. Sometimes there were people who always had a return visit across town and we would drive there and alot of cars would be in the driveway and they'd say looks like they have company it's not a good time. We would drive around all day counting our time and Joe would always have to stop for chicken at 3:00. Thinking back on all the crazy car groups and strange ways makes me laugh anyway.

apart from that, no jw ever acknowledged my clearing out .

and far too often i've trekked through these shifting sands of unrefined ideas and abrasive conclusions towards that placid falsehood.

her brain would fry with doublethink she felt her thoughts were on the brink

hello, this is my 1st initiated post on this site, so i'm a bit nervous.
i did search for similar topics on this site, but a lot of them have been inactive for several years, so here goes.... a little background, i was pretty much born in "da twoof", baptized at 17, pioneered for about 6 years, was part of the rbc part time, and was even in the foreign language field for the last 3 years i was a jw.
so i pretty much had a pretty active social life within the organization due to being part of all of those things.
I was not raised a jw so it is a little different for me but you know while I was a jw those people were only my friend as long as the organization told them to be and when I left it told them to not be and that's how they operate. Your just getting your sea legs in the real world and it's different you'll get it and it will be a true place.

becoming more and more forgetful, i have to write down all my daily tasks and obligations: put out tony's garbage can, on sunday night; feed rover at 3:30 p.m., on monday; look out my studio window between eleven and one o'clock, on thursday, to sign for a parcel, from ups, for my neighbor.. i write out all my daily jobs and appointments on my desk calendar, sticky notes (posted on my door and truck dash), and in my pocket calendar, all in ink.
i do not own -- what do you call them?
sticky note problems wind, rain, weak glue, theft, dogs, cats, coffee, wine, beer, soup, marinara and the list goes on

a passerby stopped to remark the paintings mood seemed very dark
but on one seemed to understand what forced the artists gifted hand
